Registration
Red Desk Studio (“We”) accept registrations on on a first-come, first-served basis until the class is full. Enrollment minimums and maximums for classes are stated on the class description page.
Payments
Payments for all classes must be received in full before the start date of the class. We accept, and prefer, online payments. Please useĀ the contact page on the websiteĀ to request an invoice.
Class Cancellations by Red Desk Studio
The class will be held only if the minimum number of attendees register.Ā We reserve the right to cancel a class if enrollment is insufficient, and will fully refund your registration fees if we cancel a class.Ā We will not reimburse to you any travel costs you have incurred for a cancelled class.
Attendee Cancellation and Transfer Requests
Cancellation requests or registration transfers must be made in through the contact page on the website.Ā
- If you cancel your registration more than 14 days before the Class date, we will refund the registration fee, minus a $300Ā cancellation fee.
- If you cancel your registration within 14 days of the Class date, we will refund 50% of your registration fee.
- If you cancel on the day of the Class or are a no-show, we cannot issue any refund.
Refunds for CPTC classes will include the exam fee.
You may Transfer your registration to another class date (if another class is available) or you may change the name on a registration. We charge $50 for a Transfer of registration.
Note: Ā A specific class may have stricter cancellation or transfer dates or charges listed in the class description. Those in the class description supersede these cancellation policies stated here.
STC Membership and Continuing Education Units (CEUs)
STC Member IDs will be validated against the membership database for certification and registration purposes. Candidates who complete the CPTC Foundation Exam Prep Class and exam are required to track and manage their own CEUs.
No Warranty and No Liability
Red Desk Studio is not responsible for, and does not warrant that, the candidate will pass any exam, for which it took preparation courses from Red Desk Studio.Ā In addition, the candidate responsible for verifying his or her qualifications to sit for the Certified Professional Technical Communicator Foundation Examination. Candidate will provide the required materials in order to prepare for and complete the exam.
Special Needs
If you have a disability requiring a reasonable accommodation, please include that information on your registration form in the field provided and send Red Desk Studio a description of that accommodation request at least ten working days before the course begins.
Code of Conduct
Red Desk StudioĀ is dedicated to providing a harassment-free training experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion (or lack thereof), or technology choices. Training participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from a training eventĀ without a refund at the discretion of the training organizers.
Privacy
Red Desk Studio does not share personal information with third-parties unless that information is necessary forĀ providing a training class. We do not store information we collect about your visit to this website for use other than to analyze content performance through the use of cookies, which you can turn off at anytime by modifying your Internet browser’s settings.Ā We are not responsible for the republishing of the content found on this site on other websites or media without our permission.
